Are you satisfied by the work done so far

  1. A big NO.Some unscientific road construction practices are underway on the Chamraja double road.
Multiple works are being carried out simultaneously, such as the storm drain works, pavement and the asphalting of the road.
Why I say its unscientific is because of the following:
1)The earth which has been dug up to carry out the storm drain works is left piling up on the footpath and pedestrians are forced to use the road.
2)With time the dug out earth will slowly get strewn on to the road posing danger to the two wheelers(skidding).
3)The work would be neat only if the storm work drain is carried out first, then the dug up earth is leveled well and cleared of the footpath.
subsequently, the work on the footpath is done and at end the road is asphalted so that there is no scope for mud/earth/dust to fall back on the road.

  2. Another shabby work was noticed by me on the Narayanashastri road at the chamraj double road intersection. The authorities have come up with the idea of using concrete interlocking cubes to pave the footpath,I appreciate it.But the kind of shabby work done on the Narayan Shastri road is of a great concern.
The concrete cubes at the end of the road are not sealed well with kerbs resulting in the uplifting of blocks one by one.
hope they take note of this...I shall produce photos validating my posts if needed.

Why not this road be thought as a model road for other strategic/important roads for our city.
